First visit to Wallington in December, was on a very wet and windy day. The Met Office had issued a red warning for high gale force wind in Scotland and an amber warning for the North East. The winds were just starting to increase as I entered the car park and the rain was lashing down. The rain was so bad that I drove down to the Walled Garden and parked up.
It would be unlikely that the grounds and garden would be open to the public today, due to the high winds.
With the weather being so poor, I decided to take the following photographs in black and white:
