Views around the grounds - 30/11/2011.

With November coming to a close, this was my fifth visit of the month to help in the grounds of this fine National Trust property. It started off as a bright morning but the wind got up and we had some very heavy showers in the afternoon.

It has been very quiet here at Wallington recently, today there were more visitors and children, probably due to the national strike that was taking place today.

My work for today was centred around the House entrance borders and the borders on the south side of the property. The trees around the grounds have shed nearly all of their leaves and the gardeners were busy clearing them up. The less than seasonal warmer weather has quickened the growth of the daffodils and they are well through the grassed areas where they are planted.
