Today was spent around the main entrance and farm shop. We weeded the borders and started to plant them out with a wide range of plants. The plants put in today were supplied by Northern Ark Nursery. As well as supplying Wallington they have mail order facilities.

Throughout the course of the day we continued to weed the border and generally tidy up around the car park near to the Farm Shop. The following photographs were taken in the Walled Garden, when I first arrived:
The Walled Garden is starting to show signs of growth and colour. Grass cutting will be starting and this certainly will provide a great deal of work for the Gardeners and Volunteers.
